An Oklahoma man who was training to become a Divemaster is missing in Cozumel, Mexico.

Blake Mitchell, 30, of Mustang has been missing since early march. He had told his brother in a text message that he was going to go snorkeling, but then all communication abruptly stopped. According to his brother Brayden Diebold, Blake regularly contacts the family so this behavior is entirely uncharacteristic. When an investigation began, Blake’s motorcycle and helmet was found at his work in a locker, and his backpack with electronics and a full bottle of water was found on the pier he normally dives from. His dog was found in his apartment.
